About the WTEA

  • The Woodbridge Township Education Association represents more than 1800 faculty and staff of the Woodbridge Township School District
  • Woodbridge Township is the largest municipality in Middlesex County, New Jersey
  • WTEA is the largest NJEA affiliate in Middlesex County and the fifth largest in New Jersey
  • All of the members of WTEA are covered by one inclusive collective bargaining agreement with the Woodbridge Township Board of Education.Our current agreement runs through June 30, 2024. This document represents our first agreement to cover our clerical aides who voted for inclusion in 2019.
  • The WTEA operates out of our full time office at 34 Green Street in Woodbridge
  • The WTEA staff includes Brian Geoffroy, who is a teacher on leave of absence while serving as President of WTEA; Michele Gurney, Administrative Secretary for WTEA; and Thomas Pasko who serves as a part-time release First Vice President
  • WTEA is affiliated with NEA, NJEA, and MCEA
